PILOT PHASE BEGINS FOR FIRST ESTABLISHMENT SURVEY
The Development Planning Unit will soon conduct its first Establishment Survey, which is a sample survey that targets public or private businesses and agencies operating in the Territory to secure statistics relating to their operations, such as income, expenditure, and inventory. The pilot phase of this major project takes place between Tuesday, 26 February and Monday, 17 March when selected business establishments will be surveyed. The DPU is seeking cooperation from the operators of business establishments that will be contacted during the Pilot Survey. All information will be held in the strictest confidence as mandated by law, and the procedures used will be in strict adherence to the Statistical Act of 2005, as well as the highest regional and international standards.
